Fairfield PAL Parking Lot Skate Nights
Come have a WHEELY good time this summer!
Fridays are for ROLLER-SKATING this summer! Come ROLL with your friends at the Fairfield PAL Summer Parking Lot Skate Nights, every Friday between July 2 and August 20, 2021 from 7pm -10pm. The Parking Lot Skate Night series will feature a live DJ, glow products, special requests and dedications, dance contests, a skate-a-tron, and Chick-fil-A snacks to go!
Skaters may bring their own skates or rollerblades, but must arrive in shoes. PAL members may also check out roller-skates featuring Glow LED roller skate wheels! A hybrid wheel that uses LED lights that illuminate the tire as you cruise around. Roller skating provides a great way to exercise and kids get to do what they like to do more than anything in the world – hang out with friends and listen to music. Studies have shown that roller skating provides a complete aerobic workout and involves all the body’s muscles, especially the heart. Roller skating is equivalent to jogging in terms of health benefits and caloric consumption, reduction of body fat, and leg strength development. Roller skating is even recommended by the American Heart Association (AHA) as an aerobic fitness sport.
Space is limited due to COVID restrictions. A FREE PAL membership and advanced signups are required.

The Fairfield PAL Teen Center uses the fun of traditional recreational programs to engage underserved teens and help build great qualities in members. PAL uses traditional recreational programming as a gateway to engage teens in programming and activities that support the development of the social and emotional skills required to develop a positive self-identity and become productive and active members of our community.
