Armijo’s lead editor leaves her comfort zone

Hey there, I’m Dulce Bernal Ortiz! If you don’t know who I am, I’m a senior at Armijo High School, serving this year as your People Editor (second year) and Co-Editor-in-Chief!

I made sure to really go out of my comfort zone in my last two years of high school, by joining Journalism Club, International Club, GSA, the Armijo Girls Tennis Team (and maybe the badminton team this spring!) Fulfilling and balancing many roles and responsibilities in life is difficult, especially for an IB student, whose time is consumed by academics, numerous extracurriculars, and additional requirements to meet.

But with the time that is left in my hands, I enjoy reading, crocheting, painting, writing poetry, playing tennis, watching sunsets, and listening to music from the 70s and 80s (my favorite era of music) and my favorite artist: Harry Styles!
