Banda Night a big success!
On Friday, April 1, Armijo had their first Banda Night! Students from local schools came to the event which was held on the outside basketball courts. There was a taco truck, Kona Ice truck, churro stand and candy stand hosted by International Club.
A night like this would not be complete without the music, though. The bands Desas3 and Codigo 04 performed and many people danced along. For guests who didn’t want to dance, there was a churro-eating contest, which was a big hit.
Overall, students loved the event which has the potential of becoming an annual event.

The 6 Senior ASB Officers [Mark Silva], [Ethan Magno], [Mariza Supapo], [Kiera Tomko], [Ahri Aguba], and [Osaguina Sorae] arrive early to the game to help set up and boost school spirit, gathering at the fence to hype up the crowd as the sun sets behind the bleachers. Their coordinated shirts, painted by ASB officers in the past years, become a highlight of the event as students stop to take photo with them.
