Spring Fling Update
Due to the unfortunate circumstances regarding COVID-19, the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District is following the guidelines placed by California public health officials on March 13, one of which called for non-essential public gatherings of more than 250 people to be canceled or postponed.
This included the Spring Fling Dance, which was planned to occur on the night of March 14. According to Leadership teacher Mr. Casey Towner’s email, there will be alternatives for Music Fest and 3v3 Basketball, since they exceed the 250 people limit. These events were on the schedule for the first two weeks of April, and were later cancelled based on the “shelter at home” and school closures through April 20.
At this time, there is no word on Prom (5/23), Powderpuff (5/15), Senior Awards Night (5/27), Graduation (6/12), Grad Nite (6/12-13), and any events beyond April 30th, including Senior Trip.
Information about dance ticket refunds for Spring Fling will be sent soon. Additional information about refunds for Prom tickets will be provided if the event needs to be cancelled. More updates will soon come.
