AHS staff competition starts out strong
Purple and Gold staff team members put aside their differences to represent Armijo in fun and games.
The student/staff softball game on Friday, September 13 ended with fireworks yet again!
Purple team carried a 13-7 lead into the sixth inning before the Gold Team stormed back with eight runs to make it 15-13! Purple team was then shut out in the final frame to lose by two… Gold team receives 10 points for the victory!
Purple team had 17 staff members play/attend while Gold had 13. Each member in attendance received a point for their respective team.
We appreciate everyone who came out! Staff MVP goes to Officer Lewis who hit a home run and lead the motivation of the gold team in the comeback! (5 points for Gold team).
Play of the game belongs to the Freshmen student at shortstop for the purple team! She made several outstanding plays, but no points will be awarded because the play was not made by a staff member.

The 6 Senior ASB Officers [Mark Silva], [Ethan Magno], [Mariza Supapo], [Kiera Tomko], [Ahri Aguba], and [Osaguina Sorae] arrive early to the game to help set up and boost school spirit, gathering at the fence to hype up the crowd as the sun sets behind the bleachers. Their coordinated shirts, painted by ASB officers in the past years, become a highlight of the event as students stop to take photo with them. The moment captures how school events bring students together through shared pride and energy.](https://the-armijo-signal.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Photo-1-450x600.jpg)
