Recycling at Armijo

To help keep the campus clean, Armijo has placed new recycling bins all around the school. If you look next to every hall, you will either see a normal garbage can or a purple recycling bin. Normal garbage would be for for your food compost from lunch or any other perishable items. On the other hand, our new recycling bins are made for items like plastic bottles, cans, paper, etc. However, many students in Armijo struggle to put the right items in the correct bins. Around every hall will be a garbage can or a recycling bin to throw your trash away. By knowing the differences of these school bins and throwing the correct items into each one, we can make Armijo a cleaner learning environment. Furthermore, these added recycling bins can create a better environment not just for the earth, but for the entire school. Be sure to let your peers know about how important it is to throw waste in the correct bins. Encouraging a better attitude towards our school environment will make Armijo an even better educational place for students and teachers!

The 6 Senior ASB Officers [Mark Silva], [Ethan Magno], [Mariza Supapo], [Kiera Tomko], [Ahri Aguba], and [Osaguina Sorae] arrive early to the game to help set up and boost school spirit, gathering at the fence to hype up the crowd as the sun sets behind the bleachers. Their coordinated shirts, painted by ASB officers in the past years, become a highlight of the event as students stop to take photo with them. The moment captures how school events bring students together through shared pride and energy.](https://the-armijo-signal.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Photo-1-450x600.jpg)
