Learning a skill also comes with ups and downs and a hobby is a great way to learn how to handle problems and get through them. “I think a hobby is a way to stretch your skills on a certain thing,” said Carissa Medrano, “like if you do art it can be a way to calm yourself down. You can calm yourself before a stressful thing.”
