October 2017: Mystery Person
The Mystery Person for the month of October is a freshman female who loves to spend her time with family and friends, practice piano and ukulele, and play sports just for fun. Although she is not currently on a sports team in high school, she used to play basketball for her church in youth competitions.
She plans on going straight to college after graduating in 2021 and wants to stay local by attending Stanford, UC Davis, Berkeley or Sacramento State. Last June, her brother graduated from Armijo High School. In fact, all of her other family members that attended school in the US graduated from Armijo except for her father, who attended Fairfield High.
In terms of travel, our Mystery Person wishes she could go to Europe or Asia to experience the different cultures. If she were to win a million dollars, she would donate to those in need, give some to her parents and invest towards her future.
The last Mystery Person was sophomore Kristina Violago who remained a mystery since September 1.
If you know the Mystery Person for these two weeks, be the first person to go to G-10 to identify him or her. You will receive a free movie ticket at Edwards Theater. Only one prize per issue will be awarded. Journalism students or club members and Armijo teachers and staff do not qualify. Armijo’s Mystery Person will be presented between September and May. Submission cannot be taken during class time but will be accepted between classes, before and after school.

The 6 Senior ASB Officers [Mark Silva], [Ethan Magno], [Mariza Supapo], [Kiera Tomko], [Ahri Aguba], and [Osaguina Sorae] arrive early to the game to help set up and boost school spirit, gathering at the fence to hype up the crowd as the sun sets behind the bleachers. Their coordinated shirts, painted by ASB officers in the past years, become a highlight of the event as students stop to take photo with them. The moment captures how school events bring students together through shared pride and energy.](https://the-armijo-signal.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Photo-1-450x600.jpg)
