Basic school supplies have changed prices to keep up with the times.
The excitement for the students for back to school shopping has increased over the years. Desires for supplies have increased as they are marketed in different colorful packages to attract children.
Some stores — Walmart, for example — have a list of the school supplies and students believe that all those supplies are necessary to help them succeed in school, but needs vary from class to class and school to school.
Back to school shopping has been playing as a tradition for a number of years. As the variety of supplies and products increase, so have their prices. The data table above shows the prices of some supplies now and twenty years ago.
