From part-time jobs to careers
When adults ask children about their imagined futures, they are usually asking about their future careers. Under a capitalist system like ours, money is required to sustain a comfortable lifestyle and, to acquire that, a job is often needed.

Some of the most popular jobs that high schoolers seek are in retail, babysitting, dog walking, pet sitting, or services. Since these low-effort jobs are always in demand and have flexible hours, they are the perfect gateway into learning how to earn a paycheck.
