Candido is already thinking about the memories he will take from Armijo.

Candido Mora Urbina started coming to Armijo when he was a freshman in 2015 and now he is ready to graduate, but he won’t be leaving campus in June without some precious memories. “I’m going to miss friends and the events here at Armijo,” Mora said.

Mora has been a part of the soccer team and his favorite memories involve International Week, an annual event hosted by Ms. Vanessa Walling-Sisi. He knows how important it is to enjoy the brief time that is spent on campus and would encourage others to “be involved in the activities and stay on top of your work,” he said.

When he leaves Armijo, Mora plans to go to ITT Tech and study engineering so he can work with car companies. He’s been preparing for a career working with cars for years and enjoys riding ATVs in his spare time. If he could change anything about the campus before he leaves, he said that he would want to have an open campus for lunch and he would want the rules to be less strict.

Mora has three siblings: an older sister who is 20, and younger brothers who are 15 and 11.
