Amelia Jiles, Staff writer
Amelia Jiles is a staff writer. Her responsibilities are to write stories for The Armijo Signal, the high school newspaper. She chose journalism as her elective so she could better her writing skills.
Her hobbies include reading, writing, looking at art, and traveling. One of her greatest accomplishments was getting a high score on a fictional story project that she wrote about the Zodiac signs in the beginning of 8th grade.
An interesting fact about Amelia is that she got interested in writing when she was in the fifth grade. She has five siblings and a pretty diverse family. She hopes to write a story about what it was like growing up with a family filled with different traditions and cultures.
