Leave Smart, Be Proud
The school year is finally coming to an end! But before it does, we need to push through the final stretch of our finals week. Finals week can be the most stressful time of the school year in high school, but luckily I have 3 tips to leave Armijo feeling satisfied with your grade.
Tip #1:
Create your own study guide and quizlets:
Creating your own study guides may seem tedious, but it is an efficient way to drill in all the knowledge concepts in your brain. Quizlets are my favorite because you can practice your notes in different platforms: in flashcard mode or in a quiz mode.
Tip #2:
Attend study groups:
Studying independently can be boring at times. To spruce up your study sessions, do it with friends! It allows you to have fun while you work, and you are able to get different perspectives on the particular topic
Tip #3
Start Early:
Starting ahead of schedule relieves stress and helps you prepare without being against the clock. When you start your study sessions earlier in the time frame you can work at your own pace without the clock counting down too fast.
Overall, when you study, make it as interesting as you can. This means focusing with friends, color coding certain ideas, making acronyms for memorization, and more. The more invested you are into your work, the easier it will be for you to obtain the study concepts. Good Luck this week and happy studying!
