Are you looking for a future career in the medical field? If so, Johns Hopkins University is
the place for you! Although it is a great university all around, it is best known for its state of the
art medical program which is ranked among the top in the nation. Johns Hopkins University was
founded in 1876 and named after Johns Hopkins, an American entrepreneur who donated $7
million to finance the Johns Hopkins hospital. It was considered the first research university in
the United States. Since then, it has progressed to become a leading institution specializing in
research, patient care, and education.

meet the requirements to apply and, out of those that do, only 14% actually are accepted.
Typically Johns Hopkins does not accept anyone with an SAT score lower than 1510 unless the
student is accepted for other strengths, such as athletics. The average student who is accepted
has a high school GPA of around 3.9. However, this does not mean that John Hopkins is
impossible to get into. If you are an aspiring medical student and you have a drive to succeed, it
is not too late to study up and achieve a high SAT score.
If accepted to Johns Hopkins, you will be open to a wide range of benefits. It is very
intellectually diverse and there are over 2,4000 students enrolled across nine campuses. In
addition, they have put more money into research than any other US academic institution so. if
you want a great education, Johns Hopkins is the ideal choice.
Finally, Johns Hopkins is known for its rich history of academic successes. There have
been 27 researchers at Johns Hopkins who have earned the Nobel Prize. Does this sound like
something you want to get in on? If so, sit down, strap in, improve your scores, and apply to
Johns Hopkins University!
