Life as a SENIOR can be an emotional rollercoaster. With everything you do in school it will be the last time you would do it in High School. There are so many things you do your senior year. For example, play a sport, Color Run, Homecoming & Homecoming Skits, go to football & Soccer & Basketball games, Powdered Puff, and all of the Prom. But there are some stressful things that will happen your senior year such as filling out applicants for college, filling out for FAFSA, making sure you have all the credits and classes you need to graduate. But as a Senior you have many things to look forward to such as meeting more new people, creating bonds with them, creating teacher bonds with teachers you never thought you would like ,but the most part you’d probably look forward to is making so many memories with you friends/best friends. Though you will have your ups and downs along the way, just remember that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to because you know that you have the potential to do so. And to help make your Senior year experience a little better, join clubs. There are many clubs to join in such as BSU (The Black Student Union), International club, Theatre, Stitch club, Art club, and many more. One thing you should never do if you give up even when it gets hard. Always remember that there is a purpose for everything you do in life. ENJOY EVERY PART OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR.

Natasha Newton, Writer
Hi My name is Natasha Newton, and I am in the 12th grade. I am from Oakland, California. Adventurous is an adjective that describes me. I show an interest in trying some new things. And there are two nouns that I adore: my family and volleyball. I enjoy the verb help because I enjoy assisting others.
Some of the favorite books that I read are The Summer I Turned Pretty and the Hunger Games. The Summer I turned pretty is one of my favorite books because she shows/feels different emotions throughout the whole book between all characters. And the Hunger Games is one of my favorite books because of the kindness and respect that Katniss has. I would say that funny, kind, happy, sarcastic, silly, and sleepy are words that describe me.
