The arts combine for a spectacular show
May 20 – June 24 at Solano Town Center Mall Gallery
Fairfield Poet Laureate Suzanne Bruce is inviting students to participate in another art and poetry collaboration with the Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association. Their upcoming exhibit will be “Music & Dance.”
You may visit art there or go online at www.fvaa-arts.org after May 20 to choose an art piece to write to. (click on Gallery to see the art).
The art reception and poetry reading will be:
Saturday, June 3 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Solano Town Center Gallery, Fairfield
1350 Travis Blvd. # D-8
The gallery is inside the Solano Town Center—go into the mall by the Appleby’s entrance and turn left down the hall. The gallery is up a bit on the left).
Keep your poems to 42 lines or less. Send your poem by 12 noon on Friday, June 1 to Ms. Bruce at fairfieldpoetlaureate@gmail.
Please send the poem in a Word Doc or PDF and, if possible, put a picture of the art with the poem. Poems will be placed in a binder and kept at the Gallery from June 3 through the duration of the exhibit.
