Applications are now open for the Assist-a-Grad Scholarships for 2023, but the deadline is Thursday, March 9. For information about the scholarships available, students are encouraged to visit https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gJgJIJbDFWE3BfBUB6H8g92d8JpouPNt/view.

The Armijo Alumni Scholarship offers $8,700 only to students who have parents or grandparents who have graduated from Armijo High School. It’s sponsored by the Armijo Alumni association, which was created in 1991 and is open to all former Armijo students.

Assist-A-Grad Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (AAG) was formed in 1967 by a small group of volunteers from the school and community. Since that time, AAG continues to operate as an all-volunteer-run organization. We provide a single source for information on various scholarships, a process of interviewing all interested and eligible students, and the method of providing the funds directly to the college or university of the student’s choice.

In 1970, the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce strongly supported AAG and offered their address for mailing purposes.

Assist-A-Grad Scholarship Foundation, Inc. has continued to operate as a state-chartered, non-profit corporation and promoted the development of new sources of scholarships. Today, AAG is a sound, well-developed community service that is unique in its inception, growth, and service.

Once applications are submitted, a screening process takes place. Student interviews will be conducted by sponsors between March 27 and April 17.

Once the interview process is completed, all students will be notified the results of their application.

Award Certificates will be delivered to each high school by May 10 for award ceremonies.
