Remember to take a (lunch) break!
Although doctors and scientists say that it is equally important to eat three meals a day, society clearly favors one above the others: lunch!
American federal law doesn’t dictate that workplaces aren’t required to give employees lunch (or coffee) breaks, but most do anyway because the benefits are too good to pass up. And while time for lunch varies from school to school, even students are allowed a midday meal. The long wait between breakfast and dinner makes lunch essential to provide students and workers with the fuel necessary to get through their day.
However, lunch wasn’t always a big part of our everyday life. It originally began as a brief snacking period called a “luncheon” that could take place at any time of the day. Now, the modern world has come up with several ways to prepare healthy and tasty meals as well as established fantastic restaurants where you can enjoy all kinds of dishes. This edition of The Armijo Signal covers it all!
