Rich colors make a wardrobe pop!

Color draws attention, elicits feelings, and draws customers to a product. In fact, it’s most likely you bought the top you’re wearing right now because of the color. If not the whole reason, then I bet that color was one of the primary reasons you bought it. So–what about autumn colors in fashion?

According to https://www.vogue.com/, “…this season’s street stylers, the best fall fashion colors in 2022 are bright and beautiful, from head-to-toe oranges and zesty lime greens to classic autumnal browns and grays.” Bright, playful primary colors are more of the trending colors this season, as opposed to the muted colors usually associated with the season. Combine those colors with the traditional orange and brown that define fall and you can find yourself in a pair of Empyre beige corduroy pants from Zumiez that easily pairs with pops of colors on tees.

As reported by New Tess, a fashion store that sells top quality apparel and fabrics, “Pantone’s fall 2022 colors have been dubbed & ‘energizing’ and ‘uplifting’ and appear brighter and less restrained than last fall’s.” This shows that, in comparison to last year’s autumn, this year is more refreshing with pops of color, and standing out seems to be more of the trend than last year.

The current trend of fall colors of 2022 being more punched with color is ironic because autumn’s mood tends to symbolize adulthood and maturity, as well as abundance, which can be expressed with more muted colors: earth tones — beige, sand yellow, caramel brown, cherry red — and basically any color that has low saturation or chroma.

As for the up-and-coming colors for autumn 2022, they include periwinkle, hot pink, royal purple, emerald, crimson, cobalt blue, and so much more!
