Join us to clean the waterways

Join+us+to+clean+the+waterways

Did you know that most of the debris found on our local waterways and coastal beaches actually start as litter on streets?  It is carried into waterways and eventually out to the ocean.  That’s why Coast and Creek cleanup is a very important event, where children and adults come together to rid our creeks of bottles, plastic bags, newspapers, aluminum cans, tires, shopping carts and countless other items that have been thoughtlessly strewn along the local waterways.  We hope to continue this stewardship of our creeks with this year’s Coast and Creek Cleanup! (FSSD)

Coast to Creek Clean-up is happening on Saturday, September 17 from 9:00 am – 12 noon in various locations around Solano County.  Armijo’s AFJROTC will be cleaning Lower Laurel Creek located near Grange Middle School.  If you would like to join us please see the links below for the site location and waiver form.
