Art and Poetry show that I Matter

Deadline: July 23; Award: Up to $500

Contest rules

  • Each entry must be original poetry or art that is solely created by the student.
  • The poem or art submitted must be on the topic of Why Black Lives Matter.
  • The contest is open to students in grades K to 12.
  • One poetry and one art entry per person.
  • The contest is open to residents of the United States, as well as to international students.
  • To enter, complete the “I Matter” Poetry Contest Form on the website.

The winning entry will be posted on the organizations social media pages by September 30, 2022 (@NYFUSA on Twitter and Facebook – National Youth Foundation on Instagram).
