It was all laughs and smiles at the first Improv Hour.

Friday, September 10, was the first Improv Hour of the school year. It was held in Ms. Sheena Beeson’s classroom (T-2). Students from Theatre Club and Theatre classes attended. Many improv introduction and strength building games were played that encouraged quick thinking and big laughs.

One of the favorites was a game called TAXI. This game used four people: three passengers and a driver. Each time a new passenger came in, the driver would take on the characteristics of that character.

Everyone was very excited and ready to participate. The event was loads of fun. Ms. Beeson encourages everyone with even the smallest bit of interest to attend. Even those who don’t feel comfortable getting on stage can attend as an audience member.

The next Improv Hour is September 24 from 3 – 4 pm in T-2. Students should be sure to check it out!
