It all starts with an idea…

The Student Art Showcase is the final event in the Art is Power Series. This event will highlight student artwork, host a small local agency resource fair, and honor local prevention champions throughout Solano County. The event will be held on Sunday, May 23rd, from 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Touro University in Vallejo.

ATTENDANCE:
This event will be FREE (but not open to the public), due to COVID protocols, tickets will be limited to student performers and 1-2 family members. The event and all performances (live and pre-recorded) will be live streamed for those unable to attend in person.

COVID PROTOCOLS:
Attendees must adhere to all COVID protocols during event. More information regarding the COVID protocols will be provided as the date of the event nears.

ART SUBMISSIONS:
Students who want to submit static art (photography, painting, etc.) please use the Static Art Submission Form to upload a photo of your piece, provide your contact, and artwork information (button on the website). Students or youth groups wishing to perform please complete the Performing Art Submission Form (button on the website), and a member of the Showcase Planning Team will contact you.

PERFORMANCE SELECTION:
All student performances will be approved by the Showcase Planning Team. Selected performances will be provided a time slot and Student Activity Release Form, which must be completed to attend and participate in the event. A registration link to reserve your tickets will also be provided. Tickets must be present on the day of the event (electronic or printed copy).
