Freshman Mylea Rinaldi-Hamilton: "When I was much younger, about 7 years old, I learned about not just a disability, but a very scary thing in this world. Depression is a really hard thing that a lot of people suffer from. My dad committed suicide when I was 5 years old. Depression is a very real thing and I think that people look down on it a lot. I'm happy to say that I'm a survivor of this hard and cruel disease. Not everyone is okay, and it's okay to not be okay. I encourage anyone and want to let them know that they have plenty of people that will be there for them in hard times, and what is going on in the world is a good place to start with conversations like this."
