While your parents may be hiding a collection of Barbie’s, Beanie Babies or Game Boy cartridges, things are a little different for more modern kids. From robots to trash-like figures, http://tiny.cc/PopularToys shares a list of collectible toys that you may actually have.

The first one on their list is Hatchimals. These little robot animals come inside plastic eggs and you hatch them yourself! With the animals, you can teach them many things as you watch them grow up.
Dolls are the next on the list. Little Outrageous Little (LOL) Surprise! dolls are “little baby dolls that come wrapped inside a toy surprise ball,” as said by https://tinyurl.com/LottaLOL. The balls have many layers, and you won’t know which doll you’re going to get until you reach the last layer. “More than 800 million LOL Surprise! toys have been sold since their debut in late 2016, and they were one of the top products sold on Cyber Monday [in 2018]. (https://tinyurl.com/y74rny9k).
The third toy on the list is the Grossery Gang, “…groceries gone bad (or should we say, GROSS!), with cool characters,” the Today’s Parent article explains. There are three series of Grossery Gang characters for you to collect. “We really liked that this was a toy that didn’t require any batteries or assembly, so you are good to play as soon as it’s out of the packaging” (https://tinyurl.com/GrossReview).
There are many toys that have been popular throughout the years, and for good reason. Growing up with toys allows children to come up with all sorts of stories with imagination. “Being there for a child is the most noble thing a toy can do,” says Woody in Toy Story 4.
