Find out about getting Cash for College on October 7

Please join us for our first ever “Virtual” Cash for College Event. Financial aid experts will be presenting on how to complete the  Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), CA Dream Act Application (CADAA), and Chafee Grant for foster youth.

What Documents do I Need to complete the FAFSA

(Both students and parents, unless student is a foster youth)

  • Tax Returns
  • 2018 W2’s
  • FSA ID
  • Social Security card, if you have one
  • Alien registration number, if you have one
  • Driver’s license, if you have one
  • Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
  •  List of colleges you are interested  in attending
  • Most current bank statements
  • Any records of untaxed income
  • Alien registration number, if you have one
  • List of School (s) you are interested in attending

 

Before filling out the FAFSA, please create your FSA ID. You will need this ID to complete your FAFSA application. Parents will also need to create a FSA ID, unless the student is a foster youth. Students filling out the CA Dream Act application don’t need to create an FSA ID.
