Fairfield Christmas Tree Lighting on December 6

The Fairfield Main Street Association invites you to enjoy an evening filled with the spirit of the holidays. This event will take place rain or shine.

This fun and FREE event takes place on Friday, December 6 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  Activities begin at Jefferson and Texas Streets with the tree lighting taking place at 6:00pm.  Texas Street will be closed from Union to Madison. Free parking is available along side streets and at various parking lots surrounding the event.

The Matt Garcia Foundation returns with their Winter Wonderland activity area. While it may not be cold enough for real ice or real snow, families can enjoy carnival games, prizes, photo booth, crafts, and more. Toy donations and canned goods will be accepted for those in need this holiday season.

Bring the camera and snap a picture with the Frozen Sisters. Caroling, train rides, pony rides, holiday crafts, performances, a stocking-stuffer scavenger hunt, and of course, pictures with Santa Claus.
