Teens are invited to read the chosen monthly book and discuss it with other participants at Bounty Books (877 Merchant Street in Vacaille). Like all selections, this month’s book, The Gilded Wolves, is available at Bounty Books but can be purchased elsewhere or checked out from the local library. Discussions begin at 6 pm and last about one hour.

How to join the Bounty Books Teen Book Club:

  • Be 17 years of age or younger.
  • Be able to read on a middle school or high school level.
  • Read the books for the discussion and attend.

How books are picked:

The books are always picked in January for the whole year. We do have very specific guidelines on what books can be chosen:.

  • The books are gender neutral.
  • The books must have appropriate content, meaning the books need to be appropriate for children of all ages and not be on topics that are controversial.
  • The books can not be read in the group before.
  • Books chosen need to be from the current year, or the previous two.
