My name is Rollens. I was born in Florida, but my parents are from a country called Haiti. My parents speak Haitian Creole, which I can speak a little bit of and understand what people are saying. I am in 12th grade.

I signed up for journalism because I want to experience writing about topics.  After I was born in Florida, my family moved to California and to a city called Novato, which is around an hour away. In Novato, I went to a middle school called Marin Christian Academy. Then around 2 years ago, I moved to Suisun City and went to Armijo.
