Club Focus: Armijo Theatre Productions
Armijo Theatre Productions is the organization that is in charge of putting on
extracurricular productions at the school. Meetings are held in T-2 at lunch on
Wednesdays, as well as every other Friday after school for an hour.
Apart from the “business” part of the Club (putting on productions), the members play
Improv Games, work on theater skills, and see local shows. There is even an upcoming
holiday event where Theatre Club will volunteer at the Peña Adobe, dressing up as
Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol characters. Volunteers will simply walk around
and greet people in the area in their costumes to spread cheer.
The students in the Armijo Theatre Productions team do so much more than organize
plays and Improv shows (which, don’t get me wrong, is amazing).
To join Armijo Theatre Productions, just show up on a Wednesday at lunch, sign your
name on the sign-up sheet, and join the Remind (Code: 81010 & Text: 471653). As an
added bonus, members of the Team also get their own official t-shirts.
