Outstanding Seniors, Outstanding Athletic Futures
May was a big month for several Armijo athletes. They were able to commit to the colleges of their choices, not only as students, but also as student athletes. “This truly is a great accomplishment to move on up past the level of high school athletics and become a collegiate athlete,” Athletic Director told the Armijo Republic.
The students were destined for different schools in different sports, and all have something to be proud of.
On May 18, Jordan Kelley announced that she would be playing softball for William Penn University and Chyna Rodriguez signed on with Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska as a wrestler.
On May 30, Tariq Eid shared that he would be attending Saint Vincent College where he will play football. Taylor Kelley signed on with Sierra College in Rocklin, playing softball. Damian Taylor signed on to run track for Concordia University in Nebraska.
