You can feel a cold breeze brush against your skin as the last couple days of summer come to end and the months of fall begin. The leaves on the trees have started to change color and fall. As you walk around town you start seeing café shops and bakeries releasing their fall time centred menu with sweet drinks and sweets.
Summer, feeling warm and bright feels great as the sun gives you energy. Many people take the summer time to go out on vacations to places that offer warmer weather and outdoor activities. Many popular choices are places that have beaches, national parks, and or popular cities with well known attractions such as San Diego, Hawaii, Florida, Chicago, Amalfi coast (italy), San Francisco, and many other popular destinations. Not everyone travels though, many like to stay in their hometown and do fun activities with their friends and family, some activities could be picnics, heading to the pool, picking up new hobbies/ interests, gardening, even studying.
In comparison, fall is much different. Fall brings comfort and warmth to people, while you feel cooler temperatures during the day and start hearing the sound of leaves crunching as you walk over them. You begin seeing people layering up their clothes and wearing scarves. There are so many fun activities to do during the fall season, these include going to a pumpkin patch, going through corn mazes, go apple picking and camping. There are a couple popular holidays celebrated during this season that many people celebrate; those being Día de los muertos, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Veterans day. Most of these holidays are celebrated by gathering together with your friends and family, and attending festivals.
Ultimately the feel of going from summer to fall isn’t just about the weather changing from warm to cold, but about a change in your life. Your routine might change, and you are able to reflect back.
