Homecoming is right around the corner! Saturday, October 12th is the Armjio Homecoming dance!
The theme is “red carpet”. The dance is from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. You cannot enter after 8:30 p.m., and once you leave, you cannot re-enter. You must have your student ID to enter. Every student is allowed one guest, but they must be a part of the FSUSD district. The dance will be held in the gym. To attend the dance, you need to go to the counselor’s office and get a dance bid/permission slip, which will be turned in to Ms. Gloria. Your slip will be reviewed and approved or denied within 24 hours. After 24 hours, you will return to the counselor’s office to get your slip. The last day to turn in your form and get clearance is Tuesday, October 8th. The last day to purchase your ticket is Wednesday, October 9th. Go to the front window to pay for your ticket! Until September 27th, tickets will be $20. After that, tickets will increase to $30. However, if you have a Gold card, tickets will be $10. There are NO REFUNDS! If you bring a small bag or purse, it must be searched before entry. No large bags or backpacks are allowed. If you have been expelled or transferred from the FSUSD district, identified as an associate or member of a gang as defined by law enforcement, do not match your student ID, or you are not who you say you are, you will be denied your dance bid clearance and entry. Of course, it will still be mandatory to follow the usual school rules and dress appropriately for school.
