A personal review on George Strair´s album Cowboys and Dreamers

The  album Cowboys and Dreamers  by George strait  was released September 6th of 2024 . George Strait is a country artist and has 60 number one hits but has only topped billboard 100 44 times. The album has 13 songs that are a mix of different meanings from a love song called To The Moon  to escaping life called MIA in MIA.  I myself am not a big country music person since I grew up in a house of Pop, Rock,and Tom chapin  but was intrigued by the song Cowboys and Dreamers that is in the album. The song itself is a very motivational song about chasing the thrill of life , its ups and downs and standing against the current of people.  MIA in MIA was a fun one. MIA refers to the airport in miami so it was a fun play on words.  The books added something fun with a fiddle instead of just the guitar that I enjoyed. Honky Tonk Hall of Fame had Chris Stapleton another country singer and was a down in the dumps country song.  I most enjoyed Cowboys and Dreamers and most of that was because the chores sounded so familiar to a Tom Chapin -another entertainer.
