The Marias is a popular Puerto Rican-American pop band from Los Angeles, California, that is known for its English and Spanish music, as well as its indie pop sound. The members include Maria Zardoya, Joshua David Conway, Edward James, and Jesse Perlman. It all started when Maria was performing at the Laurel Canyon Music Revival series and Conway was running sound. The Marias debuted with their single “I Don’t Know You” in 2017 being one of their most popular songs. They gained lots of recognition for their songs “ABQ” and “Cariño” from their 2018 “Superclean Vol II” Album. These songs showcase the romantic and nostalgic style of music that people love! Not too long ago it was confirmed that the lead singers, Marrias Zardoya and Josh Conway had broken up romantically, which was a huge shock to many fans. Although the two have broken up, it doesn’t stop them from continuing to make music together as a band, and have now released their second album “Submarine.”
