Easter is all about the importance of the background of it. Easter, as a celebration, comes from a way to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, meaning the way people decorate colorful eggs represents the way they believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
There are many ways to celebrate Easter but a few are the easter bunny, easter egg hunts, easter candy, and more. One main and big one is decorating easter eggs. Easter eggs resemble the way of new life and rebirth of Jesus. They decorate these lovely easter eggs with a lot of colors to show the beautiful rebirth. Another tradition of Easter is the big easter hunt everyone waits for. The big easter hunt is where children search for hidden eggs. This activity represents the search for Jesus’ empty tomb by his followers after his resurrection. Additionally, many people attend church services, have family gatherings, and enjoy special meals together to celebrate Easter. These are such good and great things to do. Not only to celebrate the background of Easter but the importance of family.
Now one question that could be asked very often is, “When did Easter start?” Easter has been celebrated for centuries, with its origins tracing back to early Christianity. The exact date of when Easter started can be linked to the first century when followers of Jesus began commemorating his resurrection. Over time, various traditions and customs associated with Easter have evolved and been practiced worldwide.
But should we even celebrate it? I think it depends on your religion and your beliefs. Some may say it doesn’t matter but it depends, and everyone has the right to believe what they want.
A question I ask myself is does color matter in Easter, and yes it does very much! As I stated earlier, color represents the way Jesus was reborn.
One fun fact about easter is the ways all over the world and how they celebrate it. We can think of easter as a big celebration even though some might not think of it as a big thing we all should try to enjoy it. For example, In Sweden, children dress up as Easter witches and go door to door for candy. In Australia, they have the “Easter Bilby ” instead of the Easter Bunny because bunnies are seen as pests there. This is so interesting because of the fact that we don’t do that in the US. Each country has its own unique way of celebrating Easter! And that’s honestly so amazing because it shows how all over the world we can enjoy and celebrate.
The celebration of Easter is a time of joy and renewal, filled with meaningful traditions from all over the world that bring families and communities together to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus and the promise of new life. It’s a time to reflect on hope, faith, and the beauty of spring. Happy Easter!
