Malia Moli is a Sophomore and an athlete. One sport she plays is basketball, which she has been playing for about 5 years now. She also plays softball. She started softball her Freshman year, which means she has been playing for one year. She says that some of her challenges as a student-athlete are coming home after a long and tiring practice or having a game and still having to do work and having to repeat that process again the next day.
Another thing about her is that she is also in Leadership this being her second year. One of the things that made her join Leadership is her friends. They convinced her to join and after a few weeks she liked it, and so ever since then she’s stuck with it. She really enjoys being in Leadership because of its high energy and the things you learn and see. She also likes the new and different things/ experiences and the responsibilities that she has.
In 5-10 years Moli sees herself graduating from college, getting her dream job, and being able to find a place to stay. The job that she wants to have is sports medicine. Some of the things she likes to do in her free time are playing sports such as basketball and softball and hanging out/ spending time with her friends and family. If she could travel anywhere in the world right now she said that she’d go to her hometown, which is in Samoa.
