Ms. Anderson is the college and career teacher here at Armijo High School. Everyone of any grade here at Armijo high school is welcome to discuss their futures with Ms. Anderson here on campus in the Armijo library. Ms. Anderson started being a college and career teacher because the job had chosen her. She goes to meetings, training, and does research to find out more information about different colleges and careers.
Now, let’s talk about college. To apply for college you must submit an application. UC applications are open now and CSU’s will be in October. For each college they have different requirements. Seniors can use FAFSA; it has now become mandatory for students. The application for FAFSA will open in December.
Scholarships are also a great way for students to go to college and it helps out with their financial aid. If you would like more information, schedule an appointment with Ms. Anderson and she can fill you in more on the subject. Ms. Anderson has a job board for teens to get themselves jobs. She can help you build yourself a nice resume. She can help you figure out what you want to do after high school.
