It’s nearing that time of the year again, the leaves are turning orange, the sun is setting sooner and stores are putting up their Halloween decorations. Fall is one of the greatest seasons to be in the holiday spirits, and what can be better than watching movies to match the vibe of it? Below are some good movies to watch to get into the fall/Halloween spirit.
Since Halloween plays a big role in fall why not start off with some scary movies? We recommend you check out the conjuring franchise, the saw movies, insidious movies, and other infamous horror classics like “Nightmare on Elm Street”, and “Friday the Thirteenth, and we couldn’t forget the movie all the “Halloween” movies. If you’re not into scary movies but still want to feel the Halloween vibes here are a few calmer recommendations.
Hocus pocus: Follows Max Dennison who explores an abandoned house with his friends Allison and his sister Dani. Not taking his friends superstitions seriously Max releases a coven of witches, now the kids have to use a magical cat to steal the witches book to prevent them from becoming immortal. This is another very popular choice and there’s a sequel- October Sky: This movie is about John Hickam, a coal miner who loves his job and hopes his sons Jim and Homer will follow in his footsteps because coal mining is an important job in their town unless you get a football scholarship like Jim. Homer developed an interest in rocket science and his dad dislikes that, Homer starts building rockets with the help from a teacher and his friends in hopes that it will lead to a better life
