Do you think twice before dropping your trash on the ground?
I got the chance to interview custodian Brandy, she states passionately “littering drives me crazy” and it makes her particularly upset when students see her cleaning, sometimes they purposely miss the trash can. She doesn’t appreciate that people litter but there’s really nothing she can do about it, because if there’s no trash she wouldn’t have a job. People should not litter to help better the environment but she does understand not everyone has this bad habit. She would be very delighted if people had the time to help her so the campus looks great for everyone. Many people disrespect her hard work. People wouldn’t truly realize how much importance custodians hold on campus until they have been in their shoes themselves.
