Restaurant Review – Big H Deli
The Big H Deli is located at 4437 Central Pl, Fairfield, CA, near Starbucks and Boot Barn. I had to return to the Deli two times. The first time I went, it looked closed. I don’t know what was going on. The lights were on, but the door was locked and there was nobody inside the store.
I returned to the Deli a couple days later and walked right in. There weren’t people in line at the time and I had to ask for a moment just to look at the menu. The menu had lots of different options but I wasn’t feeling too well that day so I wanted something simple. I got a combo ham sandwich with a drink and chips. I asked for the sandwich with no mustard, tomato, and with the pickles on the side. I got my sandwich on regular bread and added American cheese. I paid almost $15 for all of it.
The sandwich was pretty good. It had a good flavor. I always felt that when other people make you a sandwich it tastes so much better. They put a lot of onions into the sandwich, which isn’t very much to my liking, but other than that it was pretty good, and the drink and chips were needed to complete the meal.
The wait time was good and I had an overall good service. I would definitely go back to the deli again. They had good reviews and I agree with these, too. I will say that I liked Ike’s Love and Sandwiches better, but for a local store it is worth it.
