Video Game Review – Jewel Wars
Have you ever played video games that involve war? Whether there’s a certain level that you need to battle or the game itself involves straight war content, if you are someone who enjoys playing war games or just wants a new game to try, Jewel Wars is the perfect game for you!
Jewel Wars is a video game created by Tom Create. Tom Create released this game on January 23, 2020. However, this game was initially founded in October 1989. As of right now, Tom has only released Jewel Wars to the platform Nintendo Switch.
This video game is appropriate for ages 13 and older to play, but if you own a Nintendo Switch and your guardian allows you to play the game, there is no issue with that, but 13+ is the age limit. The game’s genre is Action. This involves physical challenges, hand-eye coordination, etc.
Jewel Wars is, as its core, an Action-Arcade game with an overarching story. It’s the year 2039 – the world’s currency is all managed through an online network, and for one reason or another, a group of cyber thieves aims to return that money to the world. The rules are pretty self-explanatory, so as you play you would understand the rules.
Unfortunately, as awesome as the game may sound, the reviews are quite low. The star review is at 1.5 and there’s a review from a player that stated: “Jewel Wars is a game with an okay concept, decent but repetitive gameplay, and an uninspired story-topped with clashing and distracting visuals. It is reasonably enjoyable. I recommend it.” Based on that, the video game is not super popular. Fortunately, there have been other recent reviews from adults who seem to enjoy playing this game in their free time!
The price for Jewel Wars isn’t incredibly high either. It ranges between $9.99 and $14.99. There are, however, in-game purchases that are optional for the most part.
Considering all of this information, Jewel Wars is the type of game that is not easily grasped for some people, but that does not mean it can’t be easily enjoyable for others.
If you’re someone who’s interested, you should give Jewel Wars a shot, because it might just become one of your favorites!
