Sibling spotlight: The Corley’s
Regan (a senior) and Kennedy Corley (a freshman) are sisters at Armijo High School. Although Regan and Kennedy are three years apart, they are very close. At Armijo, they both participate in varsity tennis and leadership. Regan, as a big sister, sets an example and is a role model for Kennedy through her hard work in sports and schoolwork.
Although they are very different sometimes, they both love helping each other out and being a part of each other’s lives. The Corley sisters enjoy having each other in high school. They agree that they are not only sisters but also best friends. Regan says that, ¨having a friend like that at school is an opportunity like no other.¨ Kennedy shares that her sister is always there to look out for her and she enjoys having a ¨built in best friend¨ as a sibling. Finishing up her senior year, Regan has decided to attend Gonzaga University next year in Spokane, Washington. Kennedy is very proud of her sister and looks up to her. Following in her sister’s footsteps, Kennedy works very hard in school, is an extremely successful tennis player and very involved in leadership!
