Positive attitude, lots of good cheer
Athlete focus – Jennise Bolls, cheer
A-level student and cheer captain Jennise Bolls said, “I started cheering because I thought it would be fun. It also taught me to be more social with people.” This year, she has served as captain of the Varsity squad.
Bolls is the type of student teachers can rely on, but her dependability goes beyond the classroom. She has been cheering since she was a freshman, but it isn’t always easy. “On my stressful days, I like to hang out with my friends, watch Netflix, and chill,” she said.
When she graduates, Bolls plans to become a lawyer. She works very hard and devotes her time to passing her classes in order to create a bright future for herself. She has managed to balance her responsibilities and her free time with efficiency, organization, and dedication.
“My friends and family say that, along with the idea of graduating from here, I’m inspired by the prospect of success and having access to anything and everything I could possibly need or want,” she said. “I take pride in the fact that I am able to make something of myself, and I am always inspired by those around me who are doing their best to make a better life for themselves.”
I spend most of my time watching TV and hanging out with my little sisters. I enjoy watching Stranger Things and eating Mexican food.
