Jack Curry exclaimed, “I didn’t know what to expect during Battle of Armijo, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I received. It was so much fun to work, and it was new since it’s only my freshman year, but for sure an experience.” Another student working Battle of Armijo was Rita Mayorga. Rita Mayorga stated, “I had a ton of fun, I have never worked BOA and it went differently than I had expected, but it was a new experience working with other Armijo Students for this activity.” While Maya Nelson had mentioned the games being creative, and that this was one of the best Battle of Armijo’s that we have seen.
A student that was involved in Battle of Armijo was Abby Wolf (11th grade), she was very excited about how it went with a strong finish of third place. Abby remarked, “I’m really happy about how it all went, I had fun with my friends and they made the whole experience that much better. Next year we’ll come back and continue to have fun.”
