Video Game: Raji – An Ancient Epic
As we all know, people commonly enjoy playing video games. I mean, it is a pretty common hobby. Most people are familiar with titles like Zelda, Mario Bros., and Donkey Kong. We’re going to discuss Raji: An Ancient Epic, a game that most people have probably never heard of.
First off, Nodding Heads Games, a Pune, Maharashtra, India-based video game studio, created the Indian Action-Adventure title Raji: An Ancient Epic. On August 18, 2020, it was made available as a limited-time Nintendo Switch exclusive. On October 15, 2020, it was available for Microsoft Windows, via the Stream elient, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox one.
Hindu mythology is incorporated into the game, which also draws inspiration from the Mahabharata and the Ramayana. The in-game architecture is based on Rajasthani medieval architecture, while the game’s graphics are created in the manner of Pahari art. The target audience for this game is those who are at least 10 years old. The first day of availability is August 18, 2020, and Super.com and SuperGG.com are the publishers.
Raji, a young girl who has been selected by the gods to stave off the demonic invasion of the human realm, is the main character of this video game. Some people might wonder what her fate is. She must fight evil lord Mahabalasura and save her younger brother. Based on 21 reviews, this game had a score of 69 out of 100, which is considered to be “mixed or average reviews.”
The game’s location and theme were well received by players. According to the evaluations, this video game may have been (or may still be) well-liked in India, but it doesn’t appear to be a particularly well-liked game.
Raji: An Ancient Epic has the benefit of being free to play. The game itself does not enable in-game purchases. Unfortunately, the cost of purchasing the actual game is high. Everywhere has a different pricing, however in the US it is around $24.99. Considering New Zealand costs roughly $41.25, it isn’t too awful.
A game like this obviously doesn’t seem to be very entertaining, but of course, our curiosity gets the better of us and someone may give it a try. Some people might wonder “Is this game truly worth my time?” before they start. Yes! Raji: An Ancient Epic is a story worth reading and a game worth playing, particularly for the intriguing Indian-inspired setting.
