Coach has big goals for golfers
Golf Coach Mr. Gus Falcon
Aside from being the head of the Psychology Club and teaching on campus, Mr. Gus Falcon also coaches the Girls Golf team.
He is new to coaching any of the schools sports teams. Because there was no coach for the girls, Coach Falcon decided to take on the role in an effort to become more connected with the school. Now, being able to support the girls and becoming more involved with the school are two things he enjoys about his job as a coach.
Coach Falcon enjoys being able to watch his players improve and make major accomplishments in the sport. Even though he has only been the coach for a few weeks, the players have responded favorably to him.
Prior to becoming a coach, he developed an interest in the sport by watching tournaments on television. Coach Powell made an offer for him to become a coach and it was a deal that he couldn’t pass up.
In addition to supervising the Girls’ Golf team, Coach Falcon teaches psychology and US History, and he also manages the Psychology Club. In his personal time, he enjoys going on hikes and bike rides in National Parks with his wife and kids. He also enjoys helping his kids construct Legos and play with their race cars.
