Restaurant Review: Your Town Café

Facebook

Fresh food in a nostalgic setting.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food and customer service at Your Town’s Café, located at 1720 N. Texas Street in Fairfield. Skylar Willis and her grandmother joined me and I’ll say it wasn’t at all disappointing, but Skylar’s grandma said that the restaurant was pretty disappointing only because of what she ordered.

We didn’t order much since we were told that what they have was going to be huge and enough to fill us up. We ordered the Strawberry Lemonade which we saw on one of the reviews online, and it was really good. We both rated it 8 out of 10 overall! We liked it a lot! The refills were free and after one refill, they even gave us the container to refill it ourselves!

Both Skylar and I ordered the Meat Lovers’ Omelet. Skylar’s grandma ordered the steak with potatoes and gave the rating 5 out of 10. She said that there was too much fat, and she didn’t like fat.

The restaurant had an old school vibe to it. It feels like the cute cafes in movies from out of the ’70’s, ‘80’s and ‘90s. The lady that served us seemed super nice and kept checking up on us; the service was really great. Overall the restaurant had a super cozy, simple retro vibe!

The prices were super reasonable, too! We paid $55.53 for the three meals and drinks, so about $18 per person.

We rated the whole restaurant 9 out of 10 and we definitely recommend you go and order at Your Town’s Café, but be sure you go early. This place is only open from 7 am to 2 pm every day of the week.
