PAL Center moves to North Texas St.
After a great run at the Sullivan site—the PAL Teen Center is moving. We will be leaving Sullivan later this month –and reopening this summer at 2250 N Texas St, Fairfield, CA 94533!
If that address looks familiar—it’s because it was home to SkateLand Roller Rink! This move not only puts us on a main street—but will allow us to bring back a Fairfield tradition in a very meaningful way! Even though SkateLand closed in 2001 you can still find people with fond memories of skating and recreating there—and we will get to capitalize on that energy for a new generation—adding even more opportunities for local teens like Alive & Free, boxing, homework help, Kajukenbo, laser tag, bubble soccer, archery tag, GPA Bootcamps, Chill & Spill, career development, art, and all the other activities traditionally on the PAL calendar!
Before we reopen, PAL staff will also be conducting a needs assessment for Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis teens and their families so we can make sure the new calendar aligns with the needs and interests of our community. If you are interested in joining a listening circle or participating—please let us know. (Listening Circles will be held at the mall and the community center this Spring.)
Please stay tuned for exciting updates by following us on social media so you can mark your calendars for our exciting Grand Opening and other news!
