Friday gets you moving
CD Single Review – Friday, by Jeris Johnson
Pop-rock sensation Jeris Johnson recently released the perfect song to start off the week called Friday featuring Trippie Redd.
Johnson is changing the music scene by pushing musical boundaries and experimenting with all sorts of music genres such as pop and EDM. “With influences from Slipknot and Ski Mask, Jeris’ music experiments with the duality of grunge and beauty, boldness and vulnerability,” says MOXIE.
At first listen, Friday opens with heavy rock instrumentals and strong vocals from Johnson. The catchy rhythm keeps your head banging along and will have you repeating the lyrics.
This song is made up from a genre that Johnson calls his own. MOXIE said that “Jeris Johnson has crafted a new genre, which he coined ‘Future Grunge’, which has already caught on with his fans.”
